Maddy joined Meares Williams in November 2018 and was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court in June of the same year.
She attended St Andrew’s College and graduated from the University of Canterbury at the end of 2017, with an LLB and BA majoring in Psychology.
During her last year at university she obtained a Summer Research Scholarship and worked with law school lecturers on the “Perceptions on Surrogacy Law in New Zealand” project.
Maddy is currently gaining experience in a wide range of commercial and property matters, including the following areas:
- Conveyancing
- Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney
- Commercial- general use licences and company restructuring
- General property law
Outside of the law, Maddy enjoys cooking, playing the drums and guitar, and ultimate frisbee.
