Robert joined Meares Williams in 2017. He attended St Bede’s College and graduated from the University of Canterbury in April 2017 with an LLB and a BSc majoring in economics.
He was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in October 2017.
During his time at university Robert was the winner of the Canterbury University Negotiations competition twice, coming runner-up in the Australasian Negotiations competition at the Australian Law Students conference held in Hobart in 2016.
Robert was also runner-up in the Canterbury University Witness Examination competition in 2016.
Robert has been involved in and gained experience in a wide range of property and commercial matters, including the following areas:

- Employment Law
- Conveyancing
- Enduring Powers of Attorney and Wills
- Limited Licence Applications
Outside of work, Robert enjoys travel and has competed at two world debating competitions in Malaysia and Greece. Robert also enjoys activities such as basketball and playing guitar.
